Movie Review - Cranford Episode 2

Sorry it's been so long since I last posted!

Anyway, here is Episode Two.

There are several major events that happen in Episode 2. Namely, two deaths. I need say no more.

First and most major was the death of -BEWARE!- Miss Deborah Jenkyns. *Terrible spoiler*.

I quite like that picture of her.

And the other death is that of Walter Hutton. *Sniff* Possibly sadder? Maybe? Certainly more tragic :(

He's so cute! (Played by Haydon Downing)

Now for the how/why/where of all that.

The garden party.

At the garden party, Miss Pole & Mrs. Forrester are viewing the "worsted work", when they overhear Sir Charles Maulver talking to Miss Galindo about (drum-roll & "dun-dun-dun-DUN......" please)
THE RAILWAY!!! :-O

And Miss Pole ever-so-discreetly shuffles to the side, and once she was away from the tables, ran as fast as she possibly could! (Yes, it does look hilarious)

Haha! Love this photo!

The Railway is coming to Cranford!!!!!
Shock all round. Yes, thank-you, Mary, I think we had all apprehended that much.

And THEN, word gets out that Captain Brown is a party to the Railway - and he doesn't deny it!

Miss Deborah feels he has betrayed them. He apologizes for not telling them, but she tells him apologies are only given for mistakes between friends - "Our acquaintance is clearly at an end!" -ouch-!

She storms home - forgive the expression - and as she enters the house, she says, "I suddenly have a headache of phenomenal dimension." She goes upstairs and falls down. Martha tends to her, and Mary says to Matty, "Stay here until I say to come." Yes, she died. :,(

Moving on....
Walter Hutton was feeling slightly ill all day, then when he returned home, he came down with pneumonia (or something like that). Dr. Harrison is called to the scene and works quickly aside Sophy, ever the devoted big sister, but....They couldn't save him. Excuse me for a moment, will you? (*sniff-sniff* BOOHOO!)

And the episode ends on that bad note. :(

But it gets better, I promise :)

Next time, Episode 3!
